Relax and unleash your creativity with our Full day Spring Floral  Eco-Friendly  Table Arrangement and Success with Summer Sown Seedlings Workshops

Amelia Raben an Eco Flower Grower and Floral Artist will be here in Coolamber to guide you using  Spring eco-floristry techniques for your table arrangement which you will be taking home. Amelia will also have you dreaming of Summer and will show you her top 10 Annual cut flowers. Nothing beats a vase of fresh cut flowers except perphaps a vase from your own garden. 

​

After a welcome cup Tea/ Coffee and scones the workshop will start in the renovated stables where Amelia will discuss  her top ten annual flowers for Cutting. 

​

If you ever wanted to grow your own small cut flower patch, growing annual flowers is a great way to start. 

​

In the Potting Shed Amelia will show you the basics of Seed Sowing, pricking out and Potting on. This element will be hands on. Everyone will pot on a tray of mixed Cosmos seeds to take home providing you with your own fresh cut flowers all summer long.

At 1pm  you will get to relax further and enjoy a Kir Cocktail made using our own Homemade Coolamber Cassis, you will also be treated to a delicious home cooked two course  lunch served in the dining room of Coolamber House.

​

After dinner Everyone will be brought on a a guided walk of our 1 acre Walled Garden with Ann Marie Durkin. This will include a tour of the  Orchard, Kitchen garden, Fruit and Berry Garden including our the newly designed Glasshouse, Gardeners Cottage and Potting Shed. 

​

After you've walked off lunch you will have the  opportunity to create a beautiful table centrepiece using a mix of gorgeous spring flowers and foliage. 

​

To end the day everyone will have the opportunity to create their own flower masterpiece to take home. The beauty and importance of using 'grown not flown' blooms will be evident in the arrangements. All flowers, foliage and vases will be provided and it is suitable for beginners.
