FLORAL SUMMER MEADOW-BOX WORKSHOP

Join us for a beautiful day immersed in the art of creating meadow-inspired floral arrangements. Guided by Amelia Raben you’ll learn to select and arrange seasonal flowers, grasses, and wild foliage to create a lush, natural display. The day blends learning, creativity, and relaxation in the historic surroundings of Coolamber House and Gardens. Amelia Raben an Eco Flower Grower and Floral Artist will be here  to guide and show you. You'll learn sustainable flower arranging techniques that you can apply to any type of arrangement— You'll also gain tips and tricks for creating beautiful,  arrangements every time.

What to expect..

10 AM -Welcome and Introduction

 Kick off the day with freshly brewed coffee, tea, and homemade scones, enjoyed in the restored stables . Take a moment to connect with fellow participants and soak in the inspiring setting.

MORNING SESSION- Introduction to Floral Meadow Arrangements

Everyone will have the opportunity to create their own flower masterpiece to take home which as the name Meadow Box suggests will be reminiscent of wild meadows romantic and care free in style.The beauty and importance of using 'grown not flown' blooms will be evident in the arrangements. All flowers, foliage will be provided and it is suitable for beginners.

1:00 PM - Elegant Lunch in the Dining Room of Coolamber House

Enjoy a freshly prepared, home-cooked lunch in the beautifully restored dining room of Coolamber House. The long table, period details, and a glass of chilled cava create a delightful setting for a relaxed, seasonal meal with your fellow participants.

AFTERNOON SESSION- Hands-On seed sowing Biennials in the Potting Shed

Learn the essentials of sowing seeds in June with a practical, hands-on session in our potting shed.

​ Amelia Raben will guide you through choosing the right seeds, preparing trays, and using sustainable techniques to promote healthy growth.Each participant will have the chance to sow their own trays of seeds

Everyone will take home their own trays of freshly sown seeds to nurture and grow, bringing a piece of the workshop experience back to their garden.

3:30 PM – Guided  Walled Garden Tour 

Explore both the productive Walled Garden and the reflective Walled Garden 

Discover the variety of flowers, herbs, and plants, gaining inspiration for your own garden.

Orangery, Gardeners Cottage, and other historic outbuildings

Participants will have the opportunity to browse our gift and farm shop, which offers a variety of hand-selected locally produced products perfect for gardening enthusiasts. Discover tools, organic seeds, garden décor, seasonal produce, and unique gifts to take a piece of the workshop home with you.
