Our only Full Day Christmas Workshop promises to be a jammed packed day of inspiration. Once you arrive to Coolamber House you can immerse yourself in all things festive. This will be an indulgent experience day for you, where you can relax take some time out, be creative and inspired. We take care of everything.

We put great effort into all our workshops all year round but Coolamber really comes alive at Christmas.

From the moment you arrive here you will be welcomed by a warm mulled wine, roaring log fire in the atmospheric renovated stables.

In the morning Emma from Emma Rose Floristry will be here to show you how to create a natural Christmas Wreath and everyone will have the opportunity to make and take home their own creation to adorn their door. The wreath will use all Irish Grown Seasonal Foliage and embellished with natural fruit berries, pine cones and dried seed head. We will not be using any floral foam or artificial elements. All material will be provided.

At 1pm  The dinner bells will ring and you will be treated to Kir Royale using our own Coolamber Homemade Cassis. Followed by a delicious meal and decadent dessert. Our table dressed for Christmas will seat 16 people and will really create an amazing dining experience.

After dinner you will be brought on a short walk in the Walled Garden, the orangery and our reflective pond garden.

Back then to the house you can sit back and relax while I share some interior tips  and tricks  on how I create that cosy Christmas atmosphere whilst giving you a short house tour. You can see how I simply  dress the mantle piece using plenty of natural foliage from outside the door and how to create that wow factor using what you have thats freely available.

I put great effort into all our workshops all year round but Coolamber really comes alive at Christmas.

Finally to end the day an EXCEPTIONAL extra special treat in our sitting room a performance from Harpist Niamh Columb.

Niamh has toured  extensively as a solo artist and also with the Irish Harp Orchestra directed by internationally known harpist Dr. Janet Harbison. More recently Niamh is resident harpist in Lough Rynn Castle, Co. Leitrim and entertains tourists in Dromoland and Kilronan Castle.

Niamh is also a registered Harp teacher with the Royal Irish Academy.

A Christmas Workshop not to be missed! I look forward to welcoming you all here.
